What a clip is

A piece of your video that stands on its own. It starts where a sentence starts and ends where it ends, with captions that land word by word and a vertical frame that follows whoever is speaking. And before it reaches you, I watch all of it.

Jack Ma’s Davos 2015 talk, in full

44 minutes and 32 seconds

The clip I cut from it

46 seconds

Inside one clip

Jack Ma at Davos 2015. 46 seconds from a 44-minute talk, from 8:17.7 to 9:03.6.

The host’s question stays out: the clip starts on the first sentence of his answer and ends on “…receive it.”

The script follows the clip as it plays. Choose any word to play from there; grey words are said but left out of the captions.

Use Left and Right arrows to choose a word, Home and End to jump to the first or last word, and Enter or Space to play from that word.

What effect did it have though, uh, being rejected? So to me, being turned down, rejected…

The whole talk; in yellow, the clip’s 46 seconds.
Clip frame with the caption EVEN THE KFC, the word EVEN marked The same caption with THE marked The same caption with KFC marked
Captions land a word at a time, so the clip works with the sound off. Even, the, KFC: three frames from one second.
The Davos stage, wide, 8 minutes and 44 seconds into Jack Ma’s talk
The vertical frame follows whoever is speaking: here, the 9:16 window over the wide shot of the stage, 8:44 in.

Before it reaches you, I watch it all the way through, first word to last. All four samples

The same on every plan

How it works

You send your long videos; I choose the moments, cut, caption and check. You get clips ready to post.

You send

  • A link to your video: YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Dropbox or a file transfer.
  • Video with the speakers on camera, not audio only.
  • Footage you hold the rights to.
  • If you like, your logo, colours and typeface for the titles.

Clips for TikTok, Reels and Shortson your accounts

Questions before you start

How is this different from a €20-a-month AI app?

An app like that gives you raw cuts, and choosing, fixing and finishing them is still your job. Here I approve every clip before it reaches you, you get two rounds of changes per clip, and the style is your brand’s, not a generic template.

Which languages?

Spanish and English. On the 12 clips plan you choose one; on the 30 clips and video podcast plans you can split them between both. I write to you in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

What about the rights to the video?

You supply the footage, so it has to be yours or cleared for use, including by the guests who appear in it. The clips I deliver are for your accounts, and the audience they build is yours.

How do I cancel?

With one email, whenever you like. There is no lock-in: if you stop, the next month is not charged.

What format do the clips come in?

Vertical MP4 (9:16) at 1080 × 1920, captions burned in, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. They reach you by a private download link. On the video podcast plan, each edited episode comes in landscape, ready for YouTube.

My show is audio only. Does that work?

The clips need video with the speakers on camera. Write anyway and tell me what you record; we can look at it together.
